CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Oct. 30, 2026) – There will be temporary lane closures in numerous locations around the county from Monday, Nov. 2 to Friday, Nov. 13, while Walkers Service performs tree trimming and spreads mulch in road medians. All work will occur between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The work will be performed on the following dates in the locations indicated:
Nov. 2-5
- Murdock Circle – Veterans Boulevard to S.R. 776
- Toledo Blade – Hillsborough Boulevard to U.S. 41
- S.R. 776 – U.S. 41 to Murdock Circle
- U.S. 41 – S.R. 776 to Sarasota County Line
Nov. 4-6, Nov. 9 - 11
- U.S. 41 – Cochran to Port Charlotte Harbor
Nov. 9-13
- Edgewater Drive – Harbor Boulevard to Midway Boulevard
- Harbor Boulevard – Olean Boulevard to U.S. 41
- Midway Boulevard – Elkcam Boulevard to Harbor Boulevard
The Public Works Department reminds motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
