CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (March 13, 2026) – The Charlotte County Community Development Department invites residents to join us for a series of Town Hall discussions with County staff focused on the history of Charlotte County and how we plan for the future.
Town hall meetings will be held at 6 p.m. on the following dates and at the following locations:
During these meetings, staff will provide an overview of how the county approaches planning, growth, land use, and redevelopment decisions, as well as the role the Community Development Department plays in shaping our community. These meetings are informational and educational. County commissioners will not be in attendance, and discussions will focus on understanding the planning process rather than specific projects or neighborhood issues.
Space is limited to 150 attendees at each location, and seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
For residents who cannot attend in person, the April 8 meeting will broadcast live on CC-TV, the Charlotte County Facebook page, and the county’s YouTube channel, and will also be recorded for later viewing.
