CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Oct. 21, 2026) – In celebration of National Fire Prevention Month, Charlotte County Fire & EMS is partnering with Culver’s of Punta Gorda for a special Share Night fundraiser benefiting the Path to Purpose Scholarship. The event will bring the community together for an evening of food, fundraising and fire safety education.
During the event, a percentage of sales will benefit the Path to Purpose Scholarship, which supports students pursuing careers in public safety.
As part of the Fire Prevention Month celebration, Charlotte County Fire & EMS will also distribute free fire blankets to the first 100 residents who attend the event. Fire blankets are a fire safety tool that can help extinguish certain small fires when used properly.
“This partnership is a great opportunity to bring our community together, promote fire safety and support the next generation of public safety professionals,” said Charlotte County Fire Chief Matthew McElroy. “We appreciate Culver’s for supporting our scholarship program and helping us make a difference in Charlotte County.”
