Charlotte County Emergency Management Director Patrick Fuller Elected Secretary of FEPA

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Feb. 17, 2026) – Charlotte County Emergency Management Director Patrick Fuller was elected and officially installed as Secretary of the Florida Emergency Preparedness Association (FEPA) during its annual meeting at the Florida Emergency Preparedness Conference in Miramar Beach.

“This is a tremendous honor for Patrick and a reflection of the leadership and professionalism he brings not only to Charlotte County, but to the entire state,” said County Administrator Hector Flores. “His commitment to collaboration and preparedness strengthens our community and supports emergency management efforts across Florida.”

Fuller joins the FEPA Executive Board in a leadership role that supports coordination, strategic initiatives, and professional development efforts for emergency managers statewide. As Secretary, he will help guide the association’s mission while continuing to lead local preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation efforts here in Charlotte County.

“It is truly an honor to serve alongside emergency management professionals from across Florida,” said Fuller. “Preparedness is a shared responsibility, and FEPA provides a strong network for collaboration, innovation, and strengthening our collective ability to serve our communities before, during, and after disasters.”

Fuller has been an active participant in statewide emergency management initiatives and professional development efforts. His leadership in Charlotte County continues to focus on strengthening partnerships, enhancing training opportunities, and building a resilient community prepared for all hazards.

Founded in 1956, the FEPA supports professional emergency managers across the state in their mission to protect lives and property through effective preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation efforts.
