The Charlotte County-Punta Gorda Metropolitan Planning Organization is accepting applications for the following volunteer positions:
- Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee - One Mid-County representative and one bicycle business representative. The BPAC reviews and makes recommendations on transportation plans and projects for the MPO board consideration.
- Charlotte County Transportation Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board - One experienced representative of the local private for-profit transportation industry. The LCB identifies local service needs and provides guidance to the community transportation coordinator on services for the transportation disadvantaged.

The Barrier Island Fire Service Municipal Service Benefit Unit Advisory Board is seeking a volunteer to fill a vacant position with term ending Oct. 31, 2026. Construction Industry Licensing Board is seeking a volunteer to represent the professional engineer category. Volunteer must be a resident of Charlotte County for at least two years and be a licensed professional engineer. Length of term is four years.
