CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (July 15, 2025) – The right-hand southbound lane of Dorchester Street will be closed 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, July 21 through Friday, July 25, for Irby Construction to complete underground power installation.
Travelers are directed to lane changes with signage and should allow extra time when planning to travel through this area.
The Public Works Department reminds motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
