About This Event
Join CHEC on a guided walk through 115-acres of pine flatwoods, scrub, scrubby flatwoods, mangrove swamps, salt marshes, and wetlands that flow into Lemon Bay in Englewood at Cedar Point Environmental Park. Meet at the entrance to the visitor center. Along the way, you’ll explore the natural surroundings while searching for and learning about local plants, wildlife, and more.
Come prepared for your adventure! Please bring plenty of water, insect repellent, sunscreen, and wear comfortable clothing and footwear.
