CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (August 25, 2026) – On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, the shade structure at Englewood Beach playground, located at 2100 N. Beach Road, Englewood, FL 34223, will be temporarily removed for repairs on Aug. 26, 2026. The repair is expected to to take approximately two weeks. Visitors are asked to use caution and be aware of work activities in the area during the removal process.
Nearby playgrounds are available at Cedar Point Environmental Park and Ann & Chuck Dever Regional Park.
